1. Scope and who we are
FytYou is operated by PRATIK JAIN HUF, trading as THE VIRAL MEDIA COMPANY. PRATIK JAIN HUF provides FytYou’s fitness tracking, progress, community, event, challenge and gym-connected experiences. This policy applies when you use FytYou services or contact us.
2. Information we process
Depending on the features you use, this may include your name, phone number, email, profile details, gym or Organization association, invitations and join requests; exercises, sets, repetitions, weight, duration, distance, workout history and derived Progress information; Community posts, comments and reactions; Events and Challenges activity; Share Cards, achievement content and external-sharing choices; gym branding shown with eligible content; notification preferences; and device, browser, app version, IP address, diagnostics and security logs.
With your permission, supported Apple Health, Health Connect or similar integrations may provide selected health or activity data. You can control those permissions through the integration and device settings.
For gym-owner billing, we may process business identity, plan, currency, invoices, payment status and processor references. Payment providers may process payment credentials; FytYou does not need to store full card details when a provider handles them.
3. Why and how we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, associate members with the correct gym, provide requested product features, calculate and display progress, enable Community interactions and participation, produce user-requested Share Cards, deliver notifications, support users, administer gym services and billing, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and comply with applicable obligations.
4. Gym and member visibility
A gym does not automatically receive unrestricted access to a member’s private workout history, health information or other personal information merely because the member is associated with the gym.
Your personal health readings, raw workout records and private progress history are visible only to you through personal-data features. A gym association or an old sharing preference does not give another member, gym owner, staff member or administrator access to those raw records through those features. Cards you choose to share and participation in Community, Challenges or Events follow that feature’s visibility; challenge leaderboards show your name, score and rank. Your gym owner and authorized FytYou administrators can see the optional age, gender and body weight you enter in your profile; other members and gym staff cannot. Authorized personnel may process information needed for support, safety, security and service operation under restricted access.
5. Sharing and service providers
We use hosting and storage providers and, for enabled features, Cloudinary for uploaded media, ZeptoMail for sign-in and service email, Gupshup for WhatsApp communications, Google or Apple for sign-in, and Cashfree for payment processing. Each receives information needed for the relevant service. WhatsApp communications depend on the enabled service and applicable communication choices or permissions. Account security logs and in-app progress calculations support service operation. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a properly managed business transaction. We do not sell personal information.
When you choose to share a card or other content to an external destination, that destination applies its own terms and privacy practices. Service providers also process information as described above.
6. Security, retention and international processing
We use proportionate technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online system can guarantee absolute security. We retain information while needed for the service, legitimate operational purposes, dispute resolution, security and applicable legal or accounting obligations, then delete or de-identify it where appropriate. Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to appropriate contractual and operational safeguards where required.
7. Your choices and rights
You can manage supported profile, privacy, notification and health-integration settings in the app. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. We may need to verify your identity before acting. See Delete Account or contact support@fytyou.com.
8. Children and minors
FytYou accounts are for people aged 18 or older at launch. This applies to gym invitations, Google, Apple and email sign-in, Community, Challenges, Events and health integrations. Gym owners must not invite or create accounts for anyone under 18. An invitation, a third-party sign-in account or parental permission does not override this V1 eligibility rule. If you believe an under-18 account exists, contact Support so it can be reviewed; do not send identity documents unless requested through an appropriate secure process.
9. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. Material updates will be communicated through an appropriate service channel and the effective date will be revised. Our Privacy and Grievance Officer is Pratik Jain, acting for PRATIK JAIN HUF, trading as THE VIRAL MEDIA COMPANY. Send privacy requests or grievances to support@fytyou.com. We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days and address privacy grievances expeditiously, within one calendar month of receipt. We may need proportionate identity verification; never send a password or OTP.
